The Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI) is a not-for-profit organisation that has been the voice of private enterprise in Esperance since 1987.

The Chamber's mission is to help establish and foster an economic environment in Esperance that encourages the growth of business and industry and to provide a range of relevant and cost-effective services to business.

As the peak representative body of the Esperance Business Community the ECCI lobbies on its behalf, ensuring that the business community in Esperance has a strong and respected voice. The ECCI liaises with federal, state and local governments and lobbies them on behalf of the Esperance Business Community in order to represent the interests of our members. The ECCI also works collaboratively with other organisations with the aim of advancing the needs of the business community in Esperance.

The ECCI takes seriously its mission and is continually attempting to cultivate an environment where the Business Community can thrive. The ECCI acknowledges the benefits of a thriving local business community and encourages and promotes 'buy local' at every opportunity.

Over The Horizon

The Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI) together with the Goldfields Esperance Development Commission (GEDC) hold the Over the Horizon forum annually. This is the only event that showcases strategic issues for the forth coming year/s in the Esperance region.

In previous years this event has been incredibly successful in attendance and also showcasing that the Esperance region is 'moving forward' with the number of key strategic projects underway. A number of key speakers display their knowledge of their industry that may be in Mining, Business and or Agriculture.

Feedback we have received from previous years indicates that this event is invaluable to the local community.

Regular News Updates

The Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry provides informative and up to date news to members on local issues, regional opportunities and activities, events, networking and training opportunities through its Weekly Updates and Monthly Newsletter.

Business After Hours

The Chamber holds regular events outside normal office hours so that members can promote their products and services to the business community and network in a relaxed and informal environment.

The events are held at publicised business venues throughout the year and are organised by the Chamber in conjunction with the hosting business.

The Chamber conducts a number of events for members including development workshops and forums, big business breakfasts and the annual business awards.

Directory

The Chamber publishes an annual business directory which is the region's most comprehensive business reference guide for local goods and services.

The directory promotes businesses in the Esperance region and helps to generate opportunities for local business participation in major projects.

ECCI Business Awards

The Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc is delighted and honoured to host this annual event. The evening allows the Esperance Business Community to celebrate the quality, diversity, resilience and ingenuity of Esperance and the South East Region's finest businesses.

One of Esperance's most prestigious events the ECCI Business Awards is certainly a highlight on the Esperance event calendar.
